TriYoga
I have practiced yoga for many years, tried different yoga directions
Later I found TriYoga worth striving for. I found partners in Berlin groups and many friends and role models in Bad Meinberg:
Kaliji, the inventor of TriYoga was always a role model for me, Ishvari was always a good friend and conversation partner.

At first I practiced it in the evening, but then I always had an appetite for sweets. Later, I started around 6:30 a.m. every day and practiced around 1.5 hours, every day!

Mónica Mejía Valle

Mónica was born in Barrancabermeja, Colombia. She lived a prosperous and professionally successful life in Bogotá until she thought she wanted to learn English and to visit Australia. There, she met her German husband and in 2001 she moved to Germany.
She was diagnosed with lupus in 2004. While she was learning to live with lupus, she began to practice TriYoga. Mónica had an iron discipline. She practiced several hours of TriYoga from Monday to Friday. She was very systematic and consistent—she knew the Level 3 manual by heart, because she had practiced the whole manual twice a month from 2015 on. Her lupus, amazingly, was very restrained throughout the years. We were convinced it was thanks to TriYoga.
Mónica and I practiced regularly on Sundays at 3pm, and we met at my place about every 2 months. The last time we practiced together was May 18, 2019. In June 2019, she was diagnosed with cancer. She knew everything about the cancer, she was able to have eye-level discussions with the doctors. This was a trait of hers, wanting to know everything in great detail. At the end of the last year, the cancer had spread to the brain. She had to relearn many things that we take so much for granted (eg speaking) and she was very frustrated at first that despite all the discipline she applied, this fate was destined for her. But TriYoga didn't let her go, and she was so happy when she could practice Basics again.
On June 21, 2022, the summer solstice, she wrote me, “this cancer does not stop growing, there is nothing more to do.”
She died on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her home, one month before her 54th birthday, accompanied by her sister, who came to Germany, and her husband.
I wish Mónica all the best on her further development! I thank this life and TriYoga for letting me know her tender and joyful nature and sharing so many hours with her.
Om Shanti.
In deep gratitude,

Hello Kaliji,
I want to thank you so much that you integrate
your thanks to Mónica, my wife, who died on August 17th next to me in your internetpage.
I know her as the most wonderful woman which I met.
Very beautiful, intelligent, honest, determined and always with an open mind.
I will miss her for the rest of my life. Against forgetting I will create an internetpage.
I want to thank you also, that you give other people inspirations, to find a way of health, to find oneself, to give them motivation in the live.
I wish you and your team the best for the future, especially health!
Greetings from Berlin

I practiced TriYoga in levels 1, 2 and 3.
I was a TriYoga teacher.
I also learned and practiced Reiki.

I practiced yoga every day alone, very intensively, but also in smaller groups, such as with Ishvari, and also in larger groups, such as in the yoga group in Berlin and in the yoga center in Bad Meinberg.
